I processed thousands of KDP paperbacks at Amazon inbound. The most common cover rejection: ISBN barcode with no quiet zone. The cover designer fit the barcode into a tight space and cropped the white border. Scanner could not read it. Book went to problem solve. Here is exactly what KDP requires.
