I configured Zebra ZT410 printers for three different Amazon facilities. The #1 setting that causes scan failures: barcode width set too narrow for the printhead DPI. At 203 DPI, a Code 128 bar width of 2 dots produces a 0.25mm narrow bar — right at the edge of scannability. Bump it to 3 dots and your scan rate goes from 95% to 99.9%.
ZT410/ZD620 at 203 DPI: bar width 3, height 80px. At 300 DPI: bar width 4, height 100px. Generate your barcode with our Code 128 generator and configure your Zebra driver to match. Generate Code 128 →
